William N. Morris  

 

   Born in New Haven in March 1841, William N. Morris, was appointed to the Taunton Police Department circa 1872 and served until 1874, being reappointed in 1878 and serving until his resignation on August 1, 1880. He died on September 10, 1911 in Taunton.
