This is a photograph of Patrolman John Foster Hall. Born on July 21, 1861 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Hall was appointed to the Taunton Police Department in January 1895 and served until his retirement on October 15, 1935. He died in Taunton on September 24, 1939.
