Patrolman (Lieutenant) William Seubert

This is an interesting collection of papers involving Lieutenant William C. Seubert. This photograph appears to be the original department photograph taken of Seubert. The back of the photograph has his name, shield number, 7218, and precinct 26. It also states to Sgt, 12-24-1934, shield 1062. What makes this interesting is the accompanying paperwork. From that we know that Seubert was appointed to the NYPD on July 13, 1917 and retired as a Lieutenant on August 9, 1957. It appears that Seubert died in 1964.
